Is it difficult to install the application?As NMVS Connect is a SaaS Application (Software as a service), no installation is required. You only need 2 things: a web browser and an Internet connection - and you're ready to go...!

Does my Local Organisation (NMVO) receives the scan automatically?Every successful FMD scan is automatically forwarded to the National Medicines Verification System (NMVS) of your relevant country.

Which Internet Browser is recommended for NMVS Connect?We recommend Google Chrome under Windows 10 or Windows 11.

I purchased a NMVS Connect license, what now?You received an email to set up the scanning account. Click on the link and finish the registration. Now you can enter the credentials and are immediately ready to scan. Check the user manual from the help section for more information. After you configured your scanner, you can directly scan medicine into the NMVS Connect application.

How can I get the data of my scanned products?A Reporting Component is included in NMVS Connect. You can flexible download the last month's data from the history tab. In addition You can set up in the application settings a daily, weekly, and monthly email report which contains the scan data in pdf or xlsx format.

I receive an alert response while scanningFMD Alerts can have different reasons, some of the most typical causes are: Wrong Scanner configuration: check your scanner configurations or check with or support via email at support@nmvs-connect.com . The QR code on the package is misprinted. Double dispensation of a package. You should check with your local NMVO organization about the cause and appropriate alert handling.

I cannot login into NMVS ConnectThis is usually caused because one of your users entered the wrong password or because your account was locked due to other reasons. Check with our support via email at support@nmvs-connect.com.

The verification page shows message: “invalid client credentials.”This is because you did not complete the NMVS Connect setup process. Go to Settings => Client credentials and enter certificate, username, location id and password as described in the user manual.

I get the popup “Password expired” or "Password will expire within x days".The Arvato national system password has to be changed regularly (depending on the country in a 2 months to 1 year interval). Open NMVS Connect Settings => NMVS Credentials Press the Arvato National Password button Enter a new password twice and confirm with Change Password. The password must have min. 10 characters, 1 special sign and a upper and smaller character, like: Ex4mplePassword!

I get the response that the user has been lockedThe user has been locked by your local NMVO probably because a wrong password has been saved into the National System credential settings page.

I did not receive a scan reportKindly check your email spam / junk folder or with the IT security department. You only receive a report if you scanned items in the last month. Please check Settings => Reporting whether your email address has been entered correctly. If you still do not receive the report, please contact our support via email at support@nmvs-connect.com

I receive an error responseYour certificate is probably expired or broken. The quickest solution is to request a new certificate from your NMVO and install it according to the user manual.

I cannot reactivate a packPacks can only be reactivated from the same location and only within 10 days of the initial deactivation. Due to the EU regulation, it is impossible to reactivate packs that are marked as stolen or destroyed.

I cannot access my email anymore / the company changed the email address or domain.Check with the problem with our support via email at support@nmvs-connect.com. After we verified your identity, we can change your email address.

I get the response that the user and password do not match when scanningThis is usually caused because the wrong password was saved into the NMVS Connect System credential settings. Open NMVS Connect Settings => NMVS Credentials and press the eye button next to the password to reveal the wrong password. If you are already LOCKED or cannot remember your password: You need to contact your NMVO support and request a new initial password and an UNLOCK. After you received the new password, paste the password and press Save. Now you still need to change a new password. Press the Arvato National Password button Enter a new password twice and confirm with Change Password. (The password must have 10 characters, 1 special sign and a upper and smaller character, like: Ex4mplePassword! If you just changed your password through the NMVO PKI site and you are not locked yet, you just need to paste the new password into the password field and press Save.

The received the response during scanning that I have to accept terms and conditions (“NMVS_FE_AU_23”).Users from certain countries can accept the terms and conditions in the Settings => National System credentials by clicking the Terms and Conditions button.
